Birthday Presents
A few people have asked us if we are planning on doing anything for Aiden’s birthday. We would like to ask that anyone who feels like they would have given Aiden a birthday present, and who is able to, purchase a new toy to donate to Toys for Tots (or another similar group). Although Aiden will not be able to play with the toys, it would be great if someone is able to have some joy that they might have otherwise missed. We have decided that we will be making an age-appropriate donation each year in Aiden’s honor.
I’m sending you a gift in remembrance of Aiden and all of the hopes that we had last year at this time. I am so proud of how your family has dealt with this nasty blow. I truly believe that God has chosen you to help others and has asked us to look beyond our pain to a better future where we will all be together again. If I don’t have the chance to talk with you tomorrow, please kow that you are in my thoughts and prayers all day. Aiden, I love you as much as I do Kaleb and everyday I miss the time we could have spent together. I will always treasure the few hours we had. Look down on your Mom and Dad with love and God’s blessings and help them to be the best parents ever to your future siblings. Sean and Nicole, I love you and wish I were closer. Stay strong and celebrate Aiden’s brief life as if he were here with us.
